This is the adorable moment when two furry best friends are reunited and hugged for the first time in over a year.
Simba is the mini Goldendoodle and Cooper is the Havanese, the pair are neighbors and often go on walks together with their families.
As the years have gone on, the pair have become inseparable, often seeing Simba escaping his own backyard to find and visit Cooper.
“They love each other, and my daughter and friend’s daughter are friends too,” said Couto, Simba’s human.
The cute pair are similar ages and have been the best of friends ever since they were young pups.
They have always been excited to see each other and express this with the sweetest of hugs doggy hugs, standing upright on their legs like a human.
The photo was shared on the popular Dogspotting group on Facebook and gained a lot of attention. People have since shared similar encounters with their dogs:
