Wildlife Photographer Captures Stunning Lionesses With 8 Cubs (7 Pics)

Family portraits are always a struggle, especially if you have eight children you need to deal with.

But one pride of lions made it look easy as they all naturally lined up for a picture-perfect shot of them.

These stunning pictures show the pride of three female lionesses along with their eight cubs in the Serengeti Loliondo Conservation in Tanzania.

The Serengeti national park in Tanzania is home to these spectacular lions. It stretches to around 12,000 square miles.

The name Serengeti comes from the Maasai language and means ‘Endless Plains’.

These once-in-a-lifetime shots were captured by Barbara Fleming and she even managed to capture a shot with all eight cubs staring directly into the lens.

Since the 1960s, the lion population around the world dropped by 70 per cent!

This huge drop in numbers is largely blamed on habitat loss and encroachment by humans in the wild.

What a beautiful family portrait of these truly stunning animals!
