Polar bears and snow go hand in hand. They are made to withstand the harshest temperatures and the snow is just normal for them.

One of the female cubs had a rough start to life when she was born. Since then she has grown from 1.2 pounds at birth to 20 pounds!
Since she’s now doing so well, the staff thought it would be a good time to let the receovered cub play around in snow for the first time.
The results are amazing!
The cubs were born to proud parents 8-year-old mother Suka, and 16-year-old father, Nuka As of now the cubs have not been named. Suka had given birth before to cubs in 2018 and 2019, but none of her young survived beyond a few days.
