Deer Breaks Into Minnesota Fur Company, Head-Butts Owner And Escapes

A six-point buck broke into the Minnesota fur company, before head-butting the owner, trashing the warehouse and making a run for it.

The warehouse in rural Minnesota is full of deer hides being tanned for hunters. So the deer may have been seeking a mate and became confused with all the familiar smelling deer hides.

Scott Johnson, 67, the owner of the warehouse said he was in his office when he heard a worker yelling his name. He got up and went to investigate before seeing a big buck coming right to me.”

The deer then dashed through the office, leaping on tables and made a right mess of all the paperwork.

“He kind of tore the place apart.”

Scott, who was left with light bruising, said his Jack Russell terrier began nipping at the deer before it eventually ran back out the door.
