What a hero!
Jean Fernandes, a brave 11-year-old from Brazil, risked his life to rescue a dog that had been hit by a car.
The incident took place in Itajaí, Brazil back in 2013. Local press reported that a dog had been hurt by a hit-and-run driver and was stuck in the road.
The young boy saw it happen and ran out into the traffic to save the dog.
The dog was treated at an animal control center and made a full recovery.
