Meet Billie, a happy-go-lucky 4-month-old golden retriever who loves making new friends.
Billie’s human, Emily Buchenberger initially took him to a puppy play hour, and she was surprised and how easily Billie would make friends.
In this play hour, young dogs can play around in the gymnasium without a leash. Billie had an abundance of friends to play with, yet was still attracted to the other goldens in the room.
“The goldens have similar play styles so they immediately clicked,” Buchenberger told The Dodo. “There might as well not have been the other 15 puppies at puppy hour because the goldens were attached to each other like glue.”
It seemed as though the trio of goldens had formed a secret club, and would play under different objects so nobody could see.
“Most puppies ran around or jumped onto the objects, but not the goldens,” Buchenberger said. “They almost exclusively played with each other underneath the objects in secrecy.”
One of the dads decided he wanted to find out what they were doing. Could they be Playing cards? Plotting against humanity?
Everyone was shocked to see when the box was lifted, the puppies were holding hands!
“We found them all calmly interlocking paws,” Buchenberger said. “They definitely were not expecting to be exposed and immediately dispersed. Soon after, they met back up underneath the bridge to secretly play.”
Apparently, Billie loves hiding under objects at home, but Emily had no idea what exactly she was doing.
I think it’s safe to say that everyone was surprised to see what they were doing under the box, and it’s adorable!
