Wildlife photographer and zoologist Dolph C. Volker has dedicated his life to fight for animal rights and raise awareness for endangered species.
Often, he would use up his spare vacation days and savings to help out at the Cheetah Experience in South Africa.
One day, in one of his volunteer trips, he was tired after a long day in the sun and decided to take a nap in the shade, just under a tree.
That’s when his new friend spotted him, it was a cheetah named Eden who walked up to him, realised he was harmless after a quick sniff and decided to cuddle up with him!
When Dolph woke up, he was understandable surprised to see a stunning majestic cheetah so comfortably cuddled up to him. And that was the start of a long and fruitful friendship.

The beautiful thing is that Eden treats Dolph just like any other cheetah with lots of affection, cuddling, purring and even some nibbling.
Dolph has been dubbed “The Cheetah Whisperer” since he spends so much of his time helping out his cheetah buddies.
People especially love to watch this adorable pair cozy up to each other.
