It turns out this is a wild and endangered monkey from China who lives in harmony with the people of the Maoping village.
This village is home to so many rare animals such as giant pandas, and the crested ibis, it’s not that rare to see some of these endangered animals here.
The locals have a high sense of animal protection, living in harmony with them and protecting them where possible.

Others have compared the monkey to an Ewok, a fictional species from the Star Wars universe.
