Meet The Adorable Lion Cub That Inspired The Design For Simba From Lion King Movie

Meet Bahati, a stunning lion cub who inspired the design for the most recent Lion King movie due to her stunning looks.

“The world’s most famous Disney movie lion cub may have gotten some of his moves from our very own Bahati!” the Dallas Zoo wrote on Facebook.

“When Bahati was just a month old, we provided Disney with a video of this wild cat’s movements for their animation team to use for motion and behavior reference when designing Simba in The Lion King.”

“From walking on wobbly new legs to licking milk droplets off of her face, we captured every moment of this adorable animal baby, no matter how small.”

Disney has been observing Bahati ever since she was 1-month-old to ensure the recreation of Simba growing up was as accurate as possible.

See more of Bahati in this sweet video where she attempts to roar but instead lets out a gentle coo that resembles Simba:

Here at Kingdoms, we do not believe any wild animal should be kept in captivity.
