Milo is a 2-year-old Nova Scotia duck tolling retriever whose favorite pastime is hanging out in the backyard with his butterfly friends.
Described by his owner Jennifer Bennett as “a born butterfly king,” this doggo didn’t need any training on being gentle with them.
“Milo is a very curious and happy guy. He always wants to be in the middle of whatever is going on.”
One day there was a large migration of painted lady butterflies in California, as Jennifer recalls.
“There were thousands of them, there was no way not to notice. He would just sit in the garden and watch them fly by.”
The Bennett family then decided to raise their own monarch butterflies right in their backyard, and to the delight of Milo.
