This is the heartwarming story of a very unusual friendship between Amur the tiger and Timur the goat.
The two became friends after Timur was given to Amur while still alive as food. Instead they befriended each other and decided to spend their time playing, hunting and just having fun all together.
The pair have stuck together, even while Amur continues to show displays of his predatory instinct: “We still feed Amur live prey twice a week, but we don’t give him goats anymore out of respect for Timur.”
So what stopped Amur from eating Timur?
It is completely down to Timur’s bravery, he was never taught to fear tigers and therefore did not exhibit any cowardly behavior, “the tiger was confused and gave up.”
The two have been a worldwide symbol for finding harmony despite such vast differences.
