A search and rescue dog who shared an inseparable bond with his handler could not bear to say goodbye after his trainer’s retirement.
A retiring soldier was left in tears after his military dog refused to let go of him after spending two years in training together.
The pair went through rigorous training exercises to ensure the dog could carry out search and rescue missions at emergency events.
Sadly, the soldier was due to retire after serving eight years in the army and had to bid farewell to his loyal four-legged partner.
Tear-jerking footage shared by state broadcaster CCTV showed the emotional moment when the dog jumped into the arms of the soldier the day he left the camp – see above.
In the heartfelt video, the soldier salutes a fellow soldier as he prepares to hand over his best friend golden retriever.
He then turns around and walks off after giving a pat on the pooch’s head.
But the loyal canine can not bear the separation and breaks free from the leash, dashing across the ground to give his handler a final hug.
He then wags his tails and jumps up to give the soldier a kiss, leaving his ex-handler in tears before the new handler runs to separate the pair.
The clip has touched viewers’ hearts as they praised the pairs incredible bond.
