This is a story about an instant connection between man and dog. The moment took place on a pretty normal day when a reporter visited an animal shelter to do a story, just like he’d done many times before. Suddenly, a very special pup approached him. The shelter pup simply wanted to show the reporter some affection, so he hugged him and didn’t let go.

The reporter was surprised and didn’t know what to do after all this was the first time they had met, yet the hug felt so familiar. It was such a heartfelt hug that the reported had no choice but to embrace it. He started petting the pup and returning the positivity he was receiving.
As the reported continued to pet the doggo, it encouraged the neglected pup to hold on even tighter. It was clear from the dog’s eyes that he wasn’t going to let go of the reporter any time soon. It was clear that the doggo and the reporter were meant for each other; the connection was undeniable. The reporter did the only appropriate thing to do; he adopted the sweet dog and gave it a forever home.
