What’s cuter than a baby seal? Well, a baby seal hugging a plush toy of itself of course!
One of the sweetest things we have ever seen, this rescued earless seal hugging a plush version of himself.
The seal lives at the Okhotsk Tokkari Center in Japan, the country’s only conservation facility which specializes in sheltering earless seals.
Staff at the center gave the seal the stuffed toy because of its likeness, and they were delighted at how much the seal took to his new friend.
The seal, who was rescued because of an injury and is being hand-reared at the center, excitedly cuddled his mini-me and even gave it a ride on his back.
The center knew this scene was too adorable not to share, so they took to Twitter to publish the photos.
